The Eco Club of our organization won the National Level Best Eco Club award in the first national conference held at Kevadiya in Gujarat on 20th and 21st December 2019
Fifty thousand cash and a certificate to the team as a prize along with an honorary citation by Shri. Arvind Nautiyal, Union Additional Secretary Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MOEF&CC).
Padma Shri Dr. Anil Prakash Joshi and Shri Jadhav Payang, who are doing remarkable work in the field of environment, were also present on this occasion.
The Chief Secretary and President of Chhattisgarh Environment Protection Board, Shri R.K. Ms. Sangeeta P., Secretary, Department of Housing and Environment, Board and Member Secretary of the Board, Mr. R. P. Tiwari has given his congratulations and best wishes to the team.
Shri Panu Halder, Founder, Nature Bodies Foundation & Eco Club Coordinator along with the team members, Poonam Singh, Himangi Halder & Uttam Kumar Tamboli received the award along with Mr. Amar Prakash Sawant, State Nodal Agency Officer of National Green Corps Program & PRO Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board (CECB), Raipur, Chhattisgarh.
This National Level Best Eco Club award has been given to our organization by considering the various activities related to environment, nature, water, and biodiversity conservation done by us.
Large-scale work on rainwater harvesting in Bilaspur city and surrounding areas, making natural sanitary napkins, construction of Innovative school bag reducers for school students, large-scale cleaning & rejuvenation of city ponds, construction of solar water purifiers, and Public Biodiversity Register are some of the prominent highlight initiatives for which our organization has been awarded this prestigious award.
