GREAT-GLOBAL-CLEANUP-WINNING-CERTFICATE-2019

We performed various cleanup campaigns, Pond Cleanup Initiatives in our state with the aim to #EndPlasticPollution and also built numerous Innovative Soak Pit for #WaterConservation thereby ultimately strengthening the existence of species of nature and biodiversity.

Pond Cleanup Initiative Celebrating Great Global Cleanup

Our team invested our all efforts in rejuvenating Marimai Mandir Pond, Near New Loco Colony Bilaspur Chhattisgarh.

Have a look at the following video to have a glance at the entire campaign.

With a continuous effort of 55 days and the involvement of nearly 500 people, we wiped out all the non-biodegradable waste from the pond making her ready to get refilled by the grace of God!

This was one of our activities to participate in the race of the Great Global Cleanup Campaign and we strongly believed that this step will create a green spot of change that can be admired globally.

Roadside Cleanup Campaign Celebrating Great Global Cleanup

Our team also did a Roadside Cleanup campaign at Naya Raipur, Chhattisgarh from 2nd to 5th May 2019 where we cleaned the 3 Kilometers roadside area starting from Mandir Hasaud Square to Monnet, a sponge iron plant.

Check out the following video to have a glimpse of the entire campaign.

Due to the presence of several shops in that particular location, a lot of plastic waste is used to aggregate around both sides of the road giving an odd look to the place. It also proved to be harmful to the animals like cows who do not have the sense of what to eat and what not to.

And thereby swallow it and ultimately face death. Finding that place as the most affected area, our team decided to start the campaign at Raipur from there, and with incessant effort, we successfully cleaned the place.

Nearly 10 quintals of plastic waste were collected from there. We then approached the municipality and gave them the collected plastic waste for sustainable proceedings.

The Municipal Corporation Raipur and the shopkeepers including the common civilians admired and appreciated us for taking such an essential and commendable step to combat plastic pollution.

They also took a pledge with us to stop the littering behavior and use of single-use of plastic.

The expected target was achieved by the keen collaboration of 25 volunteers of team Nature Bodies and 200 people of the Raipur city including the shopkeepers as well.

Thank you very much Mrs. Karuna Singh Madam from Earth Day Network India for supporting us always and all the team members in giving your all to make this desire hop on real grounds.
