At the UNCCD's 14th Conference of Parties, held at the India Expo Mart in New Delhi, Nature Bodies' soak pit and land-restoration work was presented and recognised on an international stage - with Panu Halder, Sunita Halder, Poonam Singh, and Himangi Halder attending as the organisation's representatives.
The organisation's submission to the associated UNCCD Land Heroes recognition programme documented its groundwater recharge and soak pit initiatives as a replicable model - grounding an international conversation about desertification in work that had already been tested at school and state scale in Chhattisgarh.
